Bleeding Through is one of the most important bands to take the mixture of metal and hardcore to international prominence in the last decade. They have toured the world with Slayer, HIM, AFI, Marilyn Manson, Ozzfest (twice), Machine Head, Bullet For My Valentine, Vans Warped Tour, MTV's "Headbanger's Ball: The Tour" and more. They have been featured on the cover of Metal Edge, Outburn, Under The Volcano and Chord and received accolades from countless publications.
The group emerged from the underground to sell a combined 350,000 albums and have accomplished what few at this stage of their career have pulled together: Bleeding Through, their self-titled new album, is their most extreme. Bleeding Through is heavier, darker, angrier, more pissed off, faster and more epic than anything in the band's already impressive catalog.
Led by frontman and founding member Brandan Schieppati, the group have amassed a worldwide following of dedicated diehard fans (many of whom have joined their fan club, The Dearly Demented) through hard touring, uncompromising albums and a distinct image and vision. Keyboard player Marta has been featured on the cover of Revolver and won the "Hottest Chick in Metal" award at the first ever Revolver / Metal Hammer "Golden Gods" Awards on MTV2.
New lead guitar player Dave Nassie (ex-No Use For A Name, Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves) brings his shredding technicality to the band's already impressive formula, rounded out by bassist / vocalist Ryan Wombacher, drummer Derek Youngsma and guitarist Brian Leppke.
